Over the course of 2009 h&b Group set up its own offices. Since its formation in 1997 the h&b address has been the offices of member Buttle's. But h&b Group's Management Committee, formed in 2008, soon decided it was time to establish an independant base. Following the recruitment of Martin Mansfield as its Commercial Manager, a search then took place for the best location for its office.

With the help of members the location at the Building Research Establishment at Garston came to light and suitable terms have since been agreed. The facilities include an office for Martin as well as a large meeting room for the Group's committee meetings. The room will also be available for both member and h&b supplier events. The location on the BRE site delivers not only a convenient room but on-site building industry attractions, such as the demonstration houses.
